MEET MARDI GRAS

THE SHIP WITH
a roller coaster.

Mardi Gras is Carnival’s first Excel class ship and the first Carnival ship powered by liquefied natural gas. It has called Port Canaveral home since its maiden voyage on July 31, 2021, the first sailing with guests from the port after the industry pause.

Six themed zones spread across the ship, from the New Orleans-inspired French Quarter (home of Emeril’s Bistro 1396) to Summer Landing and the Ultimate Playground, where BOLT, the first roller coaster at sea, races around the top deck.

Know which Mardi Gras you’re booking: 7-day Caribbean cruises run through May 15, 2027. From May 22, 2027 she switches to 4- and 5-day Bahamas getaways, making her Carnival’s largest ship ever to sail short cruises.
